Where is Momma??

In case you have been looking for me, I figured I should make a quicky post here to let you know where I am these days!!!  Since early August, I’ve accepted my daughter Lyrical Ember’s invitation to join her on her blog domain LyricalEmber.com.  I hope you will click over and follow us there!  Lyrical is an amazing blogger, one of the best, as a matter of fact!  While searching for things to put this blog together, I came across this great banner from paper moon signifying Collectivism, which then reminded me of a song I’d heard recently by Fleet Foxes.  I’ve attached the song below for your enjoyment!  They are a great indie rock band!  If you aren’t familiar with Collectivism, it basically is the idea that the sum is great than the parts.  What’s that mean?  Well, I think the first line of the song sums it up well, “I was raised up believing I was somehow unique, like a snowflake distinct among snowflakes, unique in each way you can see, and now after some thinking, I’d say I’d rather be a functioning cog in some great machinery serving something beyond me…”  

Pretty powerful statement isn’t it?  What does this have to do with my blogging?  In a way, joining Lyrical on her domain is putting collectivism into service.  Working together for one purpose.

Hey folks!  I had the chance to blog with my gorgeous daughter, Lyrical Ember today!  It’s always a treat to do so!  Lyrical is so talented!  Be sure to click over to her blog to see her view of the scene along with all her styling credits and the decor credits!  Link is below!

With that all said..I have two new loves in my life.  My new Belleza Venus mesh body and Blueberry Clothing.  I just can’t get enough of either!!  In light of the recent DMCA filing against Belleza, I grabbed my Venus body before it was pulled from the store.  I have faith that Belleza will come out on top and the body will be back in teh store!

So here it is, my first post with this gorgeous body!  I grabbed this sexy lil skirt and sweater from Blueberry, these adorable socks are from Muka at The Big Show, where I also found this gorgeous tattoo from Identity and this amazing hair from Runaway!  These super comfy shoes are from Livalle for The Mens Dept.   This necklace from RealEvil is one of my favorite “go to” pieces.  You can grab these gorgeous bracelets by Formanails at The Designer Circle which opens in less than 24 hours!!

Hello ladies!  What a cute dress from Sweet Fireflies!  I fell in complete and utter LOVE with it when I first laid eyes on it!  It pairs perfectly with these adorable flats from Elysium..they come with a HUD with 10 colors!!  The tattoo on my hands is a gorgeous addiction from Identity.   How can you not love this cute little unicorn horn necklace from Atomic?!?!?!  It comes with a hud including 2 colors of metal and 6 colors of the horn!   Milk stole my heart with this hair at Hair Fair 2014!
