Where is Momma??

In case you have been looking for me, I figured I should make a quicky post here to let you know where I am these days!!!  Since early August, I’ve accepted my daughter Lyrical Ember’s invitation to join her on her blog domain LyricalEmber.com.  I hope you will click over and follow us there!  Lyrical is an amazing blogger, one of the best, as a matter of fact!  While searching for things to put this blog together, I came across this great banner from paper moon signifying Collectivism, which then reminded me of a song I’d heard recently by Fleet Foxes.  I’ve attached the song below for your enjoyment!  They are a great indie rock band!  If you aren’t familiar with Collectivism, it basically is the idea that the sum is great than the parts.  What’s that mean?  Well, I think the first line of the song sums it up well, “I was raised up believing I was somehow unique, like a snowflake distinct among snowflakes, unique in each way you can see, and now after some thinking, I’d say I’d rather be a functioning cog in some great machinery serving something beyond me…”  

Pretty powerful statement isn’t it?  What does this have to do with my blogging?  In a way, joining Lyrical on her domain is putting collectivism into service.  Working together for one purpose.

Hey folks!!  My dear daughter Lyrical Ember invited me to do a post with her, how could even think about refusing?!?!?  Be sure to head over to check out her amazing blog Lyricism!

7 Deadly Skins has a lovely offering at the Event @ 1st!  I absolutely adore the face on this skin.  It’s so cute!  As is usual, I am wearing my Belleza Venus Mesh Body with the compatible applier from 7 Deadly!  Just last night, I grabbed the new release eyes from Ikon, they are stunning!!  I think they really compliment the 7DS skin!  My gorgeous hair, which has a fluffly ponytail that I absolutely love is by Mina for the current round of Chap 4!   The On9 event is in full swing and that is exactly where you will find these way too cute nail appliers from Wicked Peach!  My aweseome top and shorts, both awesome works of art are by Addams and available at the current round of Collabor88!!  The super sexy shoes you see are from Livalle and were the Fifty Linden Friday offering this week.   The Yummy necklace I picked up from the Arcade Gacha Event is the perfect finishing touch to this outfit!

Hey folks!  Today my sweet daughter Lyrical Ember allowed me to use her blog setup to take my blog pictures  When I say “allowed me to” I mean, I moved in on her and just did it, but thats ok..she loves me!  To see her amazing post for this setup and the credits for the furnishings, be sure to click over to her blog Lyricism!  This month has been filled with some amazing events and awesome designs!  I’m stuck on this Eshe skin from WoW, it’s pretty.  You can pick it up in your choice of 3 skin tones at the Designers Circle!  I simply adore these beautiful eyes are from VerseEye.  My cute hairdo is from little bones, it was an awesome gacha prize at Chapter 4 this month!  I added some cosmetics from Buzz, Pekka, Modish, Pink Acid and these awesome bacon, YES I said bacon, nail appliers from Dark Passion’s Koffin Nails.  They can be nabbed at the Pier Market if you hurry today, but not to fret..they will be available afterwards in Dark Passions main store.  Also from the Pier Market, I have this too cute short Tshirt from Filthy Teese and my adorable binder and mouth pencil from YumYums!  Be sure to check these designers mainstores once the Pier Market closes!  I added a pair of my favorite applier shorts from Forbidden Berry and these awesome shoes from Flite.  While getting ready for this post, I spotted a whale on the back of a friend!  I HAD to have it, so off to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival I went to get this super adorable pink whale backpack.  I added my glasses from YV to make me look smart and posed myself with these great new poses from Something new!  Special thanks for my daughter, Lyrical for allowing me to impose on her today! ❤  I hope you enjoyed viewing this post!  Until next time…
