This is very, very special post for me.  This is my 200th blog post!  I am so happy to have made to this point.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the past year with all the amazing creations I have shown on my blog.  I appreciate all my followers and designers who support me.  I have grown so much as a blogger in the past year.  I hope I have gotten better at what I do.  Its an ever evolving machine that needs the good oil of support to keep going.  So, here’s to the next 200 and beyond!  Until next time…

Hey ladies!  I have some awesome new things for you to check out today!!  All these events going on have me spinning in circles and emptying my wallet fast!!  Seriously though, these amazing designers involved in the current events have really outdone themselves!  Frogstar went straight to my heart with this amazing little skybox,  because we all know my addiction to skyboxes and houses!  The lovely fireplace set by Alouette for The Pier Market is a perfect accompaniment for this skybox!  The desk from ht for The Pier Market looks like a beautiful antique hand me down!  I added some things from my inventory to round out this set-up!  On my avi..you have to check out the top from Busty Boutique, it’s actually part of a complete outfit, but i opted to use the top with this awesome skirt from Muka for The Big Show, I think it works perfectly together along with the new shoes from L.Warwick for the Season’s Story and this lovely necklace and headband, both from Tantulum for The Boho Culture Fair!  Under all of it is this gorgeous skin from WoW for the Designer Circle!  I topped it off with this gorgeous hair from Damselfly for The Body Modification Expo.  I added a Maxi Gossamer hip chain from my inventory to round out this lovely look then posed myself with perfect Image Essential Poses for The Vintage and Cool Fair!  I hope you have enjoyed this post!  Please, get out there and support these awesome events and talented designers!  Until next time…

Announcing the 7th Annual Home and Garden Expo

Home and Garden Expo 2014, benefitting RFL of SL, opens on September 16, and runs through the 28th. Spread over nine sims, HGE features the finest in Second Life Home and Garden design product and creator tools. Over 85 participating creators have joined HGE, one of the first mega-events of the 2015 Relay For Life fundraising drive in Second Life.

Relay For Life of Second Life is in its tenth season, as Second Life residents across the grid band together to raise funds for Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. The funds raised go to finance cancer research. During the 2014 season, RFL of SL broke the $415,000.00 USD mark for total funds raised.

This year’s HGE is supported by nine Platinum Sponsors and eight Gold Sponsors. This year’s event also includes, for the first time, a comprehensive shopping guide listing all donation items, new releases, hunt, raffle and gatcha items. New rules and a new layout for HGE reduces lag and provides ample display space for each of the participants’ products.

This year’s HGE features the debut of the Rezzie Awards. The Rezzie Awards are specifically designed to honor the excellent work of the designers, creators, coders, and builders who make Second Life so visually stunning and interactive, and who inspire roleplay, photography, machinima, and so much more.

Nominations were open to the public through September 12th. The awards jury then selected 4 nominees to represent each of 35 categories. The nominated works are listed on the website and visitors are invited to vote for their choices there. (HGE Staff members will be excluded from the final list of nominees, and are not eligible for awards.) Voting commenced on September 14th, and will remain open through September 27th.The winners will be announced just prior to the close of Home Expo on September 28th!

Winners will receive an exclusive, customized trophy, designed by Reven Rosca. The Rezzie Awards are organized by Fallacy DeCuir, and audited by Fallacy DeCuir, Kat Alderson and DeAnn Dufaux.

2014 Second Life Home and Garden Expo September 16-28, 2014

That’s right folks, its almost time for the 2014 Second Life Home and Garden Expo!  All our favorite designers will be showing off their creative skills!  The Exp opens September 16th and runs through September 28th.  It’s going to be an awesome event!  We have some super creative and awesome designers in Second Life!  Get out, shop and support our amazing designers of SL!!!
